hi, I don't know what bmp is. after my surgery I had problems breathing because of fluid in my lungs from anesthesia while still in the hospital I don't know if that helps you at all.
    Good luck, Jim

  • What's a bmp, and what levels did you have fused? I have the juncture of my thoracic and lumbar areas that tends to get slightly out of whack every now and then and find that a good massage or a visit to the chiropractor tends to really help my ability to fill my lungs. I'm considering a three-level fusion in my lumbar spine and hope that won't affect my breathing. I imagine it can affect all sorts of other things, but I hope that breathing isn't one of them

    3 level spinal fusion, L3/4, L4/5, L5/S1, November 2008. Stiff, but I can walk.

  • My Dear Viva,
Could you possibly explain exactly what bmp is. I know you have already explained it to me once before but I didn't fully understand. The rest of us don't know what it is either. ~X( We'd really appreciate it. Sorry, I hate being so dumb here, L) I don't mean the rest of the people that have made replies, just me. I'd really like to try and understand this so much more and try and be as helpful as I can.
    Your Friend, >:D<
