Post Op sciatic pain

AnonymousUserAAnonymousUser Posts: 49,578
I had a lamenectomy L4/L5/S1 on May 22,2008. Eight weeks after, I began to experience sciatic pain while sleeping. I have since been sleeping in a recliner. Surgeon said it's an response to the BMP Infuse and should subside. Has this happened to anyone else?

  • I haven't had surgery and not familiar with BMP?
I hope you're doing better now. Charry

  • Greetings and welcome to Spine Health. So did you also have a fusion along with the laminectomies?

There are several members who are having difficulties either they or their doctors feel is related to the BMP that was used in their surgeries. I'm sure they will be along today to share their experiences.

Sorry you are having so much pain.
