Some Kinda Funny Facts

:H Hi everyone:

I love sitting on my front porch. We live in a house surrounded on 3 sides by mountains and forest all around us. We're in the unincorporated part of a town of around 2000 population total. I'm 56 years old. My 28 year old son lives with us and that kind of activity drives him nuts. He always has to be going places, doing things. LOL.

Yesterday I was sitting on the porch reading a book on Chronic Pain for Dummies. It said about narcotics that older people tend to need a smaller dose than younger people generally. What was funny to me is one of the possible side effects is 'confusion'. LOL. Well, my wife thinks I've been in a constant state of confusion for years anyway! So I wouldn't even notice if that side effect popped up. ROFL!

That book has some humorous stuff in it as well as fun and interesting observations.

Well, back to sitting on the porch awhile. In the mornings I can hear quite a variety of bird and animals talking to each other. I don't know all the kinds of birds but it is interesting. The hummingbirds come right up to the feeder in front of the porch. Lots of fun! Why don't our younger people enjoy this sort of activity!
