Small disk herniation/Annular tear

AnonymousUserAAnonymousUser Posts: 49,578
Hi folks, I have a l/4/5 disk herniation very small 3 mm along with a annular tear.MRI findings. I have thigh, leg numbness can't sit or stand for more then a hr.I sleep great at night thank God!! Take nothing as far as meds for pain for the only time I really have pain is the sitting or standing for more then a hr.

Have had 3 ESI but did not even touch me.

This has been going on for 8.5 month's.I have tried it all I guess it looks like surgery at this point.

Just wondering will a standard microdiscectomy help/fix h a small herniation and grade 3 tear?

Thank you for your help.

  • an endoscopic microD to fix my annular tare but had no herniation. My surgery was failed but lots of people do have success with the microD. Good luck and please keep us posted.

  • Sorry to here you had a failed Micro D.

I think Im going to tough it out for 4 more months and make it a full year before I have a procedure done.

I think Im about a 32 on the disability score rating which Doug was only a 28 from Chirogeek and I don't complain a 1/16 of him I guess us Motocrossers can handle pain better.

Either way the guy's site is awesome Props Doug!!!!!!
