Pain meds - do they make you unable to sleep?

  • Seems like this is a common problem. I know if I don't get enough sleep, I get rather cranky and stressed out. So it is a choice between sleep and pain pills? ~X( YIKES! :O This whole thing gets scarier by the minute, I swear! 8}
  • ~X( I really thought something was wrong with my chemistry, no matter what pain meds I take, they make me talk more, smoke more, and I can't fall asleep!! sometimes i even get heart pounding and i hate that! Percocet, is a little different, in the way that it makes me feel faint when i stand up and like I can't breathe, but i still can't sleep with it. so i try to stick with tylenol at bedtime and klonopin and lamictal for my anxiety and mood!! they won't let me take any nsaid yet for 8 weeks they said it slows down healing process, and i like advil and motrin for pain. muscle relaxer give me very bad headaches, and a hangover like headache in the morning, i hate them
