13 weeks since microdiscectomy

hello everyone,

well just over 3 months from L 4/5 Micro-d and im happy to report i feel wondeful, so glad i had the op ,
sciatic pain gone completely , i am building up the exercise slowly ,
tried to come off the morphine too quick and suffered from insomnia , so am on a reduction programme,

it was a long two years from the first sciatic attack to today ,
a lot of pain and misery , but for now for me hopefully its over.

  • Sounds nice right about now. Sleep makes my body hurt. Hahaha.
  • I did great after my microdiscectomy until I hit the six month mark. That's when my leg began to buckly and the pain came back to severe levels. I hope that doesn't happen to you.
