good morning, all well let me say back in 2006 i had a L-4 L-5 and s-1
after i would about a year started having problems, hip pain burning pain, now some knee- pain!! was on the left side now shifting all over the place
i had 2 MRI w/w out contrast, ct scan discogram ect ect.
My question one of the Disc the doc removed, he was suppose to put bone to replace it, and never put anything to re-place i asked a couple of doc why the said they dont know

i now am seeing another surgeon, he recommends i do a Reconstructive surger take everything out do it all over again (SCAREY).go a level higher fix the disc above and put bone for the one that doesnt have anyhting wondering if that is common not to put anything there, and the rods are a lil un even, go figure

currently takeing vicoden and Soma, vicoden really does not help,, but i really dont want anything stronger. some days are ok but when its bad its bad,,,like now really concerned about the missing bone

  • I am not sure about that. It would seem that you would need at least some type of spacer there. I really do not have any ideas for you but did want to say that I am really sorry that you are going through all of this and hope that you get relief soon.
