:jawdrop: I had a spinal fusion 51/2 weeks ago and I am going stir crazy. Stil having issues sitting in a chair. Aggrevating!!!! Tired of laying around. Putting on alot of weight. Cannot wait to start therapy, hopefully within 2 weeks.

    Here is a cure to your boredom if you're on a laptop. Read posts here on this site. That's what I did. You could spend hundreds of hours on here and never read them all. It helped me to know when something was right or wrong. Things I didn't think pertained to me I read anyway because it was just fascinating. Start with that while you're waiting for therapy.

  • Are you able to get pool therapy when the Dr. okays physio? I agree with the others and don't overdo it and take time for your body to heal. Take care. Charry

  • You must have patience in order to maximize the chances for a successful fusion. I know that it will be hard but you are still very early in your recovery so hopefully your surgery will be a success and you will recover quickly. Good luck and please keep us posted.
