  • Thanks for your reply. It is comforting to hear that my days are normal.

I am doing okay, the last two nights I have not slept well at all as is seemed impossible to get comfortable. Can you tell me if you were able to sleep in a bed or did you use a recliner?

I had a c6-7 with titanium fusion I am using an Aspen collar and I wear it all the time.

I have been walking inside as it is below zero here so going outside to walk is not an option. I am tired of my four walls and sometimes cry for no reason at all. I am a type A person, I don't like mess or things left undone. (dishes in sink etc) I am trying to be patient :)

Thanks for letting me vent and for listening! Take Care

  • I wasn't able to sleep in a bed with my Aspen collar on. The first 6 weeks after my surgery I slept in a recliner, even after I was able to take off the collar. I think a lot of my problem was I was feeling overly paranoid about my neck. My friends tease me that I've graduated to "the big bed" now. Stinkers. :D

I too had days where I felt like crying. Go ahead and cry, it can be very cathartic!
