I read on here a while back where someone was trying to sell a stim. In Feb I had a 3 level ACDF and used one for a while. I fused fine and fast.
I really have no need for it anylonger. If anyone out there really needs one,I would GIVE this one I have to them.

They are very expensive, but ins paid for mine.....PM me and we could arrange it.

  • How quickly did you fuse with the assistance of the stimulator? I just had a fusion done and I am wondering if this device really does speed it up?
  • HI,
Hard to really say. They say complete fusion takes almost a full year, after my 6 month check up, I was nearly complete. The doctor said he was surprised at the quickness and said I must have good bones...whatever that means??

I cant say for sure if it was due to the stimulator or not however I did wear it for 4 hours a day for quite a while. You have nothing to lose by wearing it and maybe all to gain.

    Good luck,

  • That's very generous of you Paul :)))

I don't need one,but thank you for your kindness =D>
  • I hope I fuse fast, I can be so impatient haha. But I know we all recover different and at our bodies own rate. I have been given a Stimulator and the instructions are for four hours a day but for some reason after using it not only do I feel tight I get light headed after the first two hours, making four hours really hard to tolerate. Is this possibly related to the stimulator? Something to talk to the doc about?
thanks, and agree, your generosity is going to a blessing to someone
    Eria :)
