my name is cindy im 48 [ long story shortend ] and im 5 months post op [acdf with plate]on c5-6 and decompression of spine cord n nerve root. my surgery made no differance for my arm n neck pain n weakness . i also have a lumbar isue that affects legs. i was injured in 1986 [fell in tub], i had instant siatica ,arm n neck pain but siatica was the worst at that time had therapy and it got better except for low back tender to touch ever since. neck n arms got worse over years kept feeling like i was gonna have a siezer all the time. then in 2000 - 2003 my neck n arms got weak n swelled up with intense pain. FUNNY im suppose to introduce my self here , so i guess im a pain in the neck thats hoping for a better tomarrow

  • I am so sorry to hear that you have had what may be a failed surgery. 5 months is still early in the healing process and maybe with time it will get somewhat better. Good luck and please keep us posted.
