Back Pain, Bone Replacement Surgery on Foot

My husband has a compression fracture of the L1 w/30% loss, his should is broken, non-displaced (should heal with some time, no surgery). His foot was crushed and he had bone replacement surgery yesterday w/exterior stablizer. He is taking 10/325 Percocet and 25 mc Fentanyl patch. He is still miserable. It's been 15 hours since the patch was put on and I am hoping it gets better. Any advise? He also takes Fenegren (? on sp) and it helps a lot along with two different muscle relaxers.

  • Sounds like he's been through it. Is he any better now? I see it's been a few days since you posted.

I don't have any advice, just hope that he will feel better soon and heal uneventfully.

    Take care,
