I'm a post anterior posterior 3 level lumbar fusion with instrumentation, also a spinal cord stimulator implant. I will be having 3 level posterior fusion of c-spine this Tues. jan. 27th 2009. It would be great to hear some of your experiences with c-spine coupled with past lumbar fusion. Thx Cindi

  • Hi Cindi!
Welcome. Sorry about all the probs your haveing. I had Lumbar surg last April L5-S1 disc repl/fusion, year before that Cervial spinal decompressionC3-C7, no fusion, and now talking of fusing me C3-C7.
It's a lot too deal with for sure. I am curious about your stimulator....does it help at all? I worry about it, I have ms also and really worry about nerves being affected more.
My pain doc is thinking thats where I am going next. Just finished Another SI inj, and doing another a nerve root inj, hoping to clean out the area. had blocks that didn't help etc etc, I'm sure you know the drill.
Keep us up on whats happening, we do care. Lots of info here. I will say a prayer for you and keep you in my thoughts Tuesday..Let us know how you are when you can get back on line ok? The best to you! >:D<
