Has anyone on here tried this system? It's from The Healthy Back Institute. I think I got the link from this Spine Health Board. It's supposed to be about muscle imbalances.

  • Yes these are the exercises i am doing now. I wasnt sure that we were allowed to say what products we were using so hope its Ok to say... Anyway I am finding it really helpful. I had some relief doing them twice a day regularly within about 2 weeks but It did take nearly a month before I had noticeable improvement but I am glad i stuck with it as now it is making a big difference.

I have to say the support there has been very helpful with my questions about some of the exercises and how to approach it all. I didn't find them all easy to do at first and had to start with just a few and gradually involve others as the pain decreased but now i am doing all of them for my issues and I am improving.

Its funny because I have seen 4 physiotherapists and the last one I saw did say I had muscular imbalances affecting my spine which she wanted to work on but then the doctor decided exercises would not help me anymore - so took her away. So looks like she was right and I did need to work on muscle imbalances which this system has also identified and helped me with and I am gaining more flexibility and have much less pain so I am happy ! Neurosurgeon is happy with me doing them.I do water therapy as well and some of these exercises I can do in the water too.
  • Wow, you tried this also! Good to know that you're liking this. Right now I'm in PT with my neuro's office so I'm busy with their excercises and I also go to the pool 3 times a week. Once I finish with the neuro's PT, I'll order this. It does sound very logical.
