I'm new to blogs. 3rd try. Hope you can read this. Surgery is this Friday. Have lots of post-op questions. Nausea? How long? Anti-nausea pill? What's a Miami J? Doc. said "no collar"...doesn't that sound odd? Am having C3 - 5, I think. Purchase cervical pillow? I live alone...do I need someone with me? A day? Couple of days? Any other advice is very welcome. Thanks!

I had C3-C7 spinal decompression, no fusion, but wore a collar for a few weeks, specially in the car.
Its a good idea to have help at least the first week, because you wont be able to lift!
If you have nausea, there are good meds that will help with that, so dont worry.
