I came back to ask a question and check on things. I guess it's been awhile, that's probably a good thing.

I want to thank everyone on this forum for informing me of what getting a 3 level acdf will be like and the support I got during the process. I was also able to help others with what I experienced during and after.

I think I am a successful example of this surgery. I had a MVA accident in 2005 - rear-ended while at a stop light on a motorcycle. I can't say that I am totally recovered but I don't think the surgery helps some of the other things that I had and now continue to experience. ( muscle spasms and nerve pain).

The surgery was a breeze and removed the arm pain I had. Do I recommend it ? That is your personal decision of what is going on with you etc. I will quote my doc as he said that those 3 herniated discs and the arthritis are not going to get any better. I had the time to do it so I went for it. I was very tired of feeling that way. He was a top notch doc and everything went fine. I had seen 2 others but in the end I think picked the best one.
