I have S1-L5 spondylolythesis, DDD at L2,3,4,5, subluxations at T6, C3, S1. Scoliosis, fibromyalgia, and every "itis" known to man. 35 yrs of pain.
I've been waiting so long to see a specialist, I think it's just the 'suicide factor' they have to give you hope so you don't kill yourself. If I got to see him tomorrow, it'd still be over a year waiting for surgery.
I had 'sniper pain' (sharp shooting) for over 5 yrs, sciatica from butt to sole of left foot, non-stop. I was without pain for almost 8 months, last week it went nuts again, even the numb arms, and shooting pain up the side of my face.
I went off my meds in Dec, (dilaudid, up to 240mg/24hrs)--cuz I was in terrible withdrawals anyway. Little did I know....
I try so hard to stay positive, and keep moving, keep trying, but I just want to give up. I'm in counselling for my PTSD, but what do I do the other 6 days a week?
