I just wanted to say that this forum has been very helpful in my recovery. I am almost 5 weeks post op and still getting better every day, with ups and downs of course. When I have my "downs' I have been reassured that the recovery process is long and that it is normal to feel good and then have some bad days. I am able to cope better knowing that this is normal. I haven't had to call the doctor for anything in these 5 weeks, except for the surgery notes because I wanted to know what was installed in me. I have gotten all of my questions answered here. It's nice to get responses from people who have been through this and know what to expect and are willing to share their experience and their advice here.
