HI my name is WILL im 43 and live in Belfast. I had an interspinous spacer fitted l4/l5 7 weeks ago. To be honest i dont fell any better for having it done, still back and leg /foot pain . Does it get better over time?

  • Welcome to Spine-Health. I can't help you because I'm a cervical spiney, but I can say that you're still really early out of surgery. Have you talked to your surgeon? If so, what did he/she say?

  • I saw my surgeon last week and he said the spacer was doing all is was supposed and basically it wouldnt do any more, i have taken up swimming and starting pilates on his advice but he did say the next step my be a spinal fusion.
