Is this the same case for anyone else?--- I only get to see the physicians assistant when I go in for follow-up visits- I haven't seen the Doctor since the day after my surgery!

Last appt, I asked the PA a simple anatomy question (Is there cartilage between the ribs and the vertabrae?) and she didn't know--- I asked her because I was conderned that my back was cracking! I don't feel that I am receiving adequate care with this lady in charge, but whenever I ask to see the Doctor he is out of town. I am very concerned bc I am still having A LOT of pain and it has been 3 months since the surgery. I have already had the surgery twice- I seriously cannot mentally or physically handle going through it again!!! Any suggestions???

  • I always see my surgeon for every follow up since the tirst one. I would demand to see him or a Dr that has his credentials. Sorry, I just think that I need to see the one who did the surgery. Hope this helps.
