Anybody have surgery by Dr. EDITED in Beverly Hills?

I've done my homework and he's the 3rd surgeon I've been to. I have the utmost confidence in him and his Drs that will assist in my surgery as well, it would just be nice and reassuring if I could hear from any direct experiences.

I was rear ended sitting at a red light (by a construction truck)on Feb 7 ,2008.
It's been a long road, but I am having a two-level(L4/L5 & L5/S1)ALIF w/ minimally invasive posterior pedicle screws.
The "equipment" I am getting is supposed to be more innovative and superior?
No metal cages, they are made of some sort of plastic and a protein is used to encourage fusion rather than donor bone.

Second question, I've been quoted $296,000 for the procedure. Surprising to me at least, is half of that goes to the hospital. My surgeons won't get nearly what I thought considering that staggering cost.
Does that sound about right to anyone else w/ similar exp?
Thankfully, I am not fighting my medical insurance on this, it's all through liens/attorneys etc.

Thanks All
