Well at a little over 1 year post surgery, after increasing chronic pain, I finally broke down and got a fresh CAT scan.

After having C3-C7 fused via front and back

I now have developed facet arthropathy and arthritic lipping at C-7 T-1. (might explain the pain in that area).

Haven't got the whole report yet - but it did get all the images on disk! cool (within 20 minutes of the exam!).

Next steps back to orthosurgeon to ask ... why still so much pain - and got any real long needles full of magic?

No more knives please?

God bless us - everyone!

  • I was hoping that all was going well with the new job and your health. Well, the job probably isn't all that new now, but it was last time we chatted. I hope that you can keep the pain under control, and I also hope that you can get some long term relief without additional surgery. Let us all know what the doctors say. Once everyone knows more, maybe they can give suggestions to research based on their own experiences. Good Luck and God Bless!

  • you'd think with everything you've been through that they'd get it all by now!! So sorry to hear more things are wrong.Hopefully your surgeon can come up with some non operative stuff to help you feel better.
