Anyone experience lower jaw tooth pain from neck pain?

  • I can get my teeth looked into for free, maybe you have some thing like that were you are.If it is your teeth it could lead to something worst.
    good luck
  • TMJ also usually hurts the most when you are eating, yawning, etc. I have TMD, the disc in my jaw is out of alignment which causes me pain during flare-ups, but my cervical issues cause my jaws to hurt most of the time. I go to dentist every 6 months, and he can't find any dental cause for the pain. I've had lots of X-rays, etc.. So I think, usless you grind your teeth massivly, (you would know, your jaw would be sore in am) I'm betting it's from your cervical issues. Good luck with getting it to quiet down.

  • i seem to have the same exact pain as you...unfortuanaltey i thought it was all always caused by my jaw and I got reconstructed jaw surgery in may....can you explain what you mean by flare ups....do some days is your pain minimual and then some days does it get so unbearable that you can't take it?
  • My "life" is just as you described it. Have been thoroughly checked out by dental surgeon and Ear, Nose, Throat specialist w/o answers.

I just have to put up with it. Some days are worse than others. Laying down in a neutral position helps a small amount.

I think it's from our necks...the more I move around, the worse it gets.

Now am really bothered by the pain going up my neck into my jaw. The left side of my face droops and i have weakness on entire left side as well as pain down left arm.
Am looking for answers but even my neurologist says he just doesn't know. It feels like a heart attack, but has proven not to be.
Am in Seattle area. Anybody know any great neurologist or neuro-surgeon in the area?

I have the same problem, and have had two surgeries for disc disease. However, I've been researching this and it's possible I have something common to my age 68, called polymyalgia rhermatica. MyI head is so sore I cannot lie on my back or my right side, and my tinnitis is off the chart, along with pressure in my head, jaw pain, and tremendousely tight muscles in neck, arm pain, hip pain that is unrelenting. My neurologist has thought for some time I have other than fibromyalgia, another autoimmune disease. I'm seeing my rheumatologist tomorrow. This is a form of arthritis and is ofen connected with another autoimmune disease called giant cell arthritis...which is very serious. Maybe you should see a rheumatologist soon.
  • I have the exact symptoms you posted in 2009 from pain in left arm and leg to jaw pain to teeth hurting during severe flare ups My left leg is worse than my left but the spasm too and I have a tingling feeling that occurs during the severe flare ups... I was a very active women in my early forties till a few months ago ... I am now down for the count for these flare ups occur with walking small distances or sitting in certain chairs for too long. I am having a laminoplasty from c4- c7 3/14 for I have severe spinal stenosis at some levels and moderate at others. What caused you to have flare ups and have you had a cervical surgery?? I am scared to death and appreciate your response!!
