Pre-op appointment

I just got back from my pre-op appointment (for Laminectomy/Discectomy). It was good. Reassuring, actually. I know that everyone recovers differently, but they were saying that most people my surgeon operates on recover relatively quickly.

I'll be going in Thursday morning at 8am, surgery at 10am. And I should be able to go home Friday morning at 7am if all goes well. Which would be great, I'm sure I'll be more relaxed, and rest better at home.

I am still nervous, but feeling more now like I just want to get it done.

  • I wish you all the best for your surgery and recovery. Your positivity will help you though it. I hope you rest well before your surgery and hope you have all the post op must haves in the surgery section to make it easier like a grabber etc. Take care and saying a prayer for you. Charry
