Hi everyone,

I know I've been going on about this all week, and thanks to all of you who've replied in the last couple of days with re-assuring words. But my nerves are in an uproar!!! :S :-S:worried:

My surgery is tomorrow morning at 10am. I have a bunch of things I need to get done tonight. I just want to make sure my bedroom is set up properly to make it easier for my recovery. I've been in too much pain the last few days to do anything, so tonight I'll have no choice.

I feel all shakey, my stomach is doing flip flops, my mouth is dry!!! It's hard to concentrate on work right now. Don't think I'll get very much accomplished here today.

Sorry to go on and on, but I'm sure you all will understand, you're all so great and supportive!

Thanks for listening.

  • I know exactly how you feel! Facing any surgery is scary, and the day before is pure torture for most people. Just remember, by this time tomorrow, you'll be in surgery (or even out, don't know how long yours takes) and hopefully on the road to recovery!

Let us know how you're doing when you're up to it, we're all pulling for you!
  • Hi Sandy

Hope all goes well tomorrow. It's the waiting that is the hard part. Hopefully your recovery goes smoothly and that you're soon out of pain

  • I hope your surgery went well and that you are having a comfortable stay in the hospital. Enjoy the food and don't outrun the therapist yet. Take care
  • I'm thinking of you today and hoping everything went well. The relief of having the surgery done is awesome.

Now it's time to take care of yourself and recover. We're here for ya when you need us or simply get bored. I look forward to reading your first post-op post.
