Sounds like a better outcome than you feared. I know it's hard but just think about how blessed you are to have disability insurance through work. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have STD/LTD!

  • I'm very grateful that I was blessed to have had my career and good benefits. I ordered Dr. Ho's decompression belt so maybe that will help somewhat to get some relief. I will tell everyone I know make sure you get a job with benefits because you never know! Charry

  • I'm so glad my work says they're holding my employment with them although they have to post my job. I still have a job to go back to because many are retiring or moving on and because of the shortage they have to use Agency staff. Maybe they're holding my job so they won't have to pay me out? =)) Anyways good to know I can go back if and hopefully when I get better. I would hate to lose my senority there. Charry

Some employers are so meticulous that they abide by "if FMLA is up we must terminate you even if we want you back SO bad"

Then there's the other extreme where an employer waits years to terminate employees for no real reason.
