  • I just have one small suggestion, I realise that the evidence is medically based.
    But I talk from someone who used to work in injury claims for an insurance company when I say you have to appeal to their heart. Two of the 3 panelists are not medically trained, if you can show them how much your quality of life has diminished and how it continues to dimish the longer surgery is declined they are more likely to see you as a person than a "case" on a piece of paper.
    I agree you need to put forward your medical evidence and find out why you were denied, but it's much harder to deny someone who you have connected with on an emotional level, ie. someone you feel badly for.
