had my 2 level fusion 3/19/10, and this morning i was greeted with a different kind of pain then the usual post-op pains ive been having. There have been sharp shooting pains going across my lower back today that i have not had since the surgery.like a hot stabbing. hoping this is normal healing process or am i developing something new.anyone else get this. Also read on here that some people are taking calicum supplements, so i went to store and got some figure it wouldnt hurt. Anyone feel that they are helpful in the fusing process. thanks and my best to everyone

  • I would say it is normal. You might of just aggravated it somehow. this could be done with normal ever day activities, and even just sleeping the wrong way. How long has this been going on for? i would give it a week, then if the pain is still bad, then see your doctor again.
