Hi,Im Annette from Australia.
I have severe back pain caused by prolapsed bulging disk at L5 S1,I was stuck flat on my back for two weeks until they put me on the Norspan patch,I can only take the 5mg if I have a higher dose it makes me throw up as I am sensitive to morphine
and most drugs similar to it,I also take 6 panadiene forte a day and even then Im still in pain,I haven't been able to sit down for 6 months now unless I up the pain killers a bit,I spend most of my day on my feet and they ache so much.
I also only have one kneecap it was removed about 10 years ago,and a bursitis in my right hip.I had heart surgery a few weeks ago to fix my SVT,at least thats 1 thing fixed.
I have seen a neuro surgeon he has ordered an injection in my hip and then he will decide if I have surgery to fix my back.
I dont know how much longer I can put up with this back pain.
The medical system here sucks, you have to wait so long to get anything done,I get so depressed about all the waiting .
I have had MRI,Bone Scan,Cat Scan.
2 Lumbar injections,that didn't help at all. :(
Im glad to have found this site.
