In Need Of Some Advise

edited 06/11/2012 - 7:51 AM in Degenerative Disc Disease
was just wondering if anyone might have some advise for me. Due to a slip and fall accident I had last July I now have 3 jammed vertebraes,1 buldged disc,2 herniated Discs,Sciatica,Lumbar Radiculitis, and Premature Degenerative Disc Disease. I have applied for disability, and have been denied. I had an attorney and was sure that would make the difference. I am now so disappointedand really not sure what to do. I am 31 yrs old and had been working since I was 16yr old. I am wondering of someone could plz give me some advise on where to go from here. Thanks

  • Playboybunny,

Welcome to spine health! Sorry you're going through this so young. Did your attorney give you the reason why you were denied, and too, did he lay out a plan for the second phase? Also too, are/did your doctors back you for disability, and too support you by completing their paperwork?

Don't be too discouraged as 75% or more get turned down on their first attempt.
