I made MRI before a couple weeks and they gave me

this is the report and If you want the CD files just tell me .

  • First let me say welcome to spine-health. Have a look around and you will find many whom have lumbar issues. One thing we don't do is read MRI's we leave that to the doctors. We could read that and say there really isn't anything there and be totally off base, so best to leave it to the doctors. More importantly what type of symptoms are you having? There is a search feature at the top of the page, that you can place some of the terms in and read up on lumbar issues. I would also create a list of questions when you return to the doctor. If your not sure what questions to ask, look in the FAQ section and there is some articles on preparing to meet with a spine surgeon that can guide you.

Just thought I would stop by and welcome you to spine-health.
  • Welcome to Spine-health. We can't tell you what that means, as we are not Drs and only your Dr. can give you a Dx. However, it says mutilevel degenerative facet disease for clinical correlation there on the report, so you can start reading/researching, however, your Dr will give you a Dx. You can do a search on this site using words or terms from the report..but don't get too concerned before your Dr discusses this with you.

  • Unfortunately, I can't see your attachment. But I guess it really doesn't matter because like others said, most of us here are not trained to read the MRI or interpret the report.

Do you have a follow up with a specialist (neurosurgeon or orthopedic spine surgeon)? If not, I would make an appointment. Typically if your general practioner sends you for these tests, they should be sending you to a specialist but I've heard times where they don't see anything of obvious worry so they may forget to do this.

That being said, please share your symptoms with us. We can at least offer some insight based on our individual experiences.

There are many treatments for the spine (back/lumbar, Thoracic, and neck/cervical). Hopefully one of the conservative treatments like NSAID and PT will be helpful to you!
