Hi everyone,

Been off the site for awhile because all was going pretty good!! and still is for the most part... i'm now 1 1/2 years post my ACDF. Neck is doing pretty good overall... but occasionally i get this bizarre burning sensation that seems to come from my fusion area and spreads across the top of my shoulder area down to the shoulder blades. It mostly happens when i'm walking or carrying anything (including my purse lol). Just wondering what causes this... is it anything to be worried about... and any advice :-))

The only down side at the moment is my lumbar fusion.. just had another round of facet injections... hanging in there as they say!! hope your all recovering well :-)

  • Sorry to hear about the burning sensation. Does your PM Dr. have anything to say about that? I think I would call your family Dr. or Surgeon just to make sure everything's okay with your nerves. I haven't had C-spine surgery but maybe someone else who has can relate. Charry
