  • Sounds like you are dealing with alot between yours and your husbands health problems. This is a great place to come to let it all out. We all understand the ups and downs of chronic pain. I believe that talking to others about it is of great help.
My husband and I both deal with back problems and upcoming surgeries and things can be tough.Does your husband have a spine specialist looking after him?Have you talked to a doctor about your depression as well as your husbands? Please talk to someone, it can help.
We are all here for you!

  • please never give up. me my self the last 2 weeks have been the hardest days for me mentally, the last 2 days i feel almost reborn. not physicality it has been way worse. some of the things that have picked me up i can not believe how simple, are from people i know are way in pain and have been way down the dark hole and probably dont even now how much they have helped me even with a few words at a chants meting no longer than 60 seconds .and i know they had though about giving up years before. and i am all but positive with out them i would be way farther down the deep dark hole than i had gone, very scary place. for me if i could help just 1 person it would be worth all the cra## of the last 2 years and the meany more that are ahead . and now i hurt way worse and i feel way better dont make sense. and i before really did not like people. you just dont no what the big plan is and your part of the puzzle. if your not there down the road someone may fall down the hole and not make it out. so keep on keepin on. even some of the simplest post on hear may keep some one from goin down the dark road.

That sounds so great to be thinking of a holiday in your future. Something to look forward to!

You've gotten some great comments from some good people. I just wanted to add to your comment about others having it worse.

There is always someone worse..financially.. physically.. emotionally...whatever. But that in no way takes away from your suffering. Your pain is real and needs to be cared for..docs..meds or focusing on activities to take care of self.

And of course the pain brings on a multitude of other issues..depression for example. We have a lot going on and guilt re' others are worse only adds to our suffering. Guilt..the gift that keeps on giving. :)

Please know...I struggle with the same and am telling myself as I tell you. :)

Hope today is an ok day for you. Take care!
