Been 6 years in the making...

Well it's been 6 years in the making but I'm now on STD and will be into LTD as well. Doctor says we're treating for another symptom, fatigue, and to plan on a year if we can successfully treat it. The medication? $600 per month and not covered by insurance. Ugh. And for a medication that the doctor gives a marginal chance of succeeding. On a very good note though, we found out the Mayo Clinic is considered "in network" with our insurance! May be making a trip to Minnesota soon!

Welcome to the world of STD and LTD. No fun, I know. But if i can answer any questions let me know. I'm on LTD and my career, before all this, was in the STD/LTD industry in claims and then in account management (sales service)
