2 level PLIF

I'm scheduled to have a 2 level PLIF on April 5th for a herniated disc and spondylolisthesis at L4-5 and L5-S1. I have had back pain for 20 years and currently in a wheelchair in part because of the pain. Last year I had a successful 3 level cervical fusion (ACDF) and given my progress my surgeon thinks he can help me. Before the surgery I received so much information on this forum that helped me prepare for post op.

I have so many questions. Is anyone out there that has had this surgery recently? How long will I be in the hospital? Did you go to rehab from the hospital? Anyone out there who has had it done that is in a wheelchair? (wondering how I will heal if I don't walk much). What did you have for pain meds post op? How long before I can cook meals again?

Help! Thanks to all
