  • Hi Sunshinery,

Just wanted to stop by and let you know it does get better with time. I had a 4 level fusion on 12/19/11 and know exactly what you're going through as most of us do. The arm and shoulder pain take time to heal and I've still got some on a daily basis but it is getting better.

Good luck and take it slow that really is the best medicine at your point in recovery.

I was very careful with my steri strips and when I went to the doctor, he removed them...as gentle as he could but, it still brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I am a baby when it comes to pain.
