Visit to orthopaedic surgeon

After seeing many different specialists over about 12 years they and I finally came to the conclusion there was nothing that could be done for me. So the last five years I have just been going to my family MD, tell him the latest, and getting refills. Last month I told him I had been in worse pain, long time since I had an MRI, feel all twisted up, sticking out stomach, ribs hurt, etc. So he sent me to an ortho. surgeon to have a look.

It started out bad when I waited over an hour and a half to get in. Then the nurse asked me a bunch of questions (most of which I already answered in 10 pages of forms I filled out. (no one looked at them) Then they did 2 xrays. Finally the doc comes in and says "your problem is you're not standing straight!" I told him that was why I was there because I can't straighten up. Then he starts rapidly glancing thru the MRIs I brought, and says "Nothing!, nothing there!, no problem, all healed, nothing wrong with your spine".

So he tells me it's all my posture, I tell him I have hurt all the time since my accident. He says there is no reason for any pain there. Then he starts clicking on things on his computer which prints up the diagnosis.

Diagnosis: Neck pain, lower back pain, facet syndrome, facet arthrosis L4-5 and L5-S1

I have never had neck pain or lower back pain. I have had constant thoracic pain and tailbone pain since my injury. Over 17 years.

I don't know what to tell my regular doc tomorrow.
