Not sure what all this means

Chest and back pain, no reflex in right leg and hyper reflex in left leg. Had MRI it states t2/3 has small left paracentral dis protrusion and mild dis bulge with mild flattening the left ventral cord controur but preservation subarachnoid space. T 7/8 right paracentral small disc protrusion and left paracentral dis osteophyte comple which indents the bentral the cal sac and results in slight flattening of the anterior contour of the cord with preservation subarachnoid space Mild thoracic spondylosis with dis herniations t 5/6 and t 6/7 and Modic type 1 endplate edema. Pain mangement dr put me on morphine and a compounding cream. Would surgery fix this problem or is it to risky on thoracic spine?


  • I personally wouldn't rush into surgery unless there were signs of spinal cord dysfunctions like weakness in legs, falling, progressive pain and/or bowel bladder dysfunction. I had the surgery 11weeks ago tomorrow. It was really rough to recover from, I am much better but not yet 100%.
