I had an attack about 5 weeks ago whereby my spine would spasm and then I wouldn't feel well mentally (my brain...like confusion). I went to lie down and my heart started to race....like beating a mile a minute and I thought I was going to die. I then started to get uncontrollable tremors in both my arms and legs...my whole body was shaking uncontrollably. There were spurts where it stopped and then it would start again and then stop and then start again. I felt swelling in my rib cage and nerve pain throughout my body. I couldn't drink any gatorade because it tasted very sour in my mouth; I just couldn't have anything but water. I started not being able to tollerate medications either and would experience all the side affects and more! I went to see a neurologist and he said that my spine was going thru spasms and my body was undergoing an inflammatory process and said I needed rest. It took me an awful long time to recovery from this.
I have C3 neck problems which is a medium herniation that is pressing on the spinal cord. I have nerve impingements on both sides of my neck as per the neurologist. C7, T1 disk is degenerating. I have 2 lumbar herniations with tears on the left and right side also affecting a nerve in my right leg and left leg.
My question is, "Is it possible for the body to start the inflammatory process all over the body from not repairing the neck or the lumbar herniations and nerve impingements?" I do know that inflammation can come from mental stress, physical body stress and pain, or an infection.
I really don't know what I need to do to stop the inflammatory process...as I want to put it behind me. I fear the next attack on my body might be my last. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop it from happening again?
