  • I have not found anything - exercises or anything else that reduces the numbness

  • I found much relief from surgery plus neurotin with this... it isn't all gone but better. Have you seen a ortho or neuro surgeon? They can help you form a plan starting with conservative treatment usually.Just letting a spine expert get some images can really help. Remember every patient that goes to a ortho/neuro surgeon doesn't have surgery. The good ones try to come up with plans for managing the situation, etc. without surgery first and lots of people are able to avoid surgery. I'd start there for sure. What I wouldn't do is ignore it... (spoken from someone who has been there/done that).

  • Mri confirms degenerated l5 s1
Seeing neurosurgeon who recommended physical therapy
Physical therapist manipulated back to see what would increase numbness/pain nothing did
He determined he could not help because he could not locate the problem
Showed him the MRI disc and radiologist report
Have to wait 2weeks for follow up with nuerologist

  • What the doctor says. Hoping he had some more resources.
