I never got great grades in chemistry!! I'm still doing the lab work I guess!!

  • Again thanks for the advice & comments. My Pm just prescribed the Fentanyl patch due to costs. $155 vs $15. but told me to wait 1 wk before putting on the Fentanyl patch. I'm taking my BT norcos 7.5/325 in the meantime but I think I'm feeling the effect of WD'S . It feels like having a bad cold & the pain in my lower back isn't going away with the Norcos. Has anyone been
through this change in patches and their PM's advice to wait a week before starting on the Fentanyl patch?

  • Thanks sturgnc I'm going to call my PM tomorrow. I know now I'm feeling the effects of WD. I took the Butrans patch off
yesterday. I don't think i can wait till next Saturday to put on the the Fentanyl patch. This is sort of the first time I'm experiecning WD's. This does not feel good! I have only been on pain meds for 3 yrs & have only been prescribed Norco,
7.5/325, Norco 10/325, Butrans 10mcg, & Butrans 20 mcg. Nothing else. I hope this works out as I'm trying to avoid
    surgery. That scares me.
  • Thanks everybody for their help. I'm looking forward to more comments and advice so that I can
become more educated in the chronic back pain I'm dealing with.
