Recovery from L5-S1 ALIF Surgery

Hi I'm new here my name is Barb I had alif back surgery Feb 19,2013. Today marks 5 weeks. Feeling better than I did before surgery.. My question is what to expect at my 6 week check up? I have not been allowed to bend or twist. I have had someone with me 24/7 for help. I'm doing I feel really good the pain is manageable with the hydro-codone I'm down to one every 6 hours and they are 500. I've been walking the mall (slowly, a bit slower than my normal pace) I've twisted by accident and ouch! Also my incision on my stomach seems to have Brocken out like a rash? Not sure if it was because of that glue they put on to cover the stitches? Anyone have any input it would be great. Thanks Barb
