  • Dawny Good luck on your op, google hydro discectomy or YouTube it's kinda cool.
  • I am a 22 years old Masters Student and suffering from worst back pain from a year, due to disc herniation at L5-S1 (it was mild last year but now everything is so different now) and all that sciatic nerve problem in both legs, because of which I have been in worst situation and even lost 10-12kgs of weight in starting 3-4months (doctors says it might be because I was in stress or so much pain) So that I can understand your situation totally. first doctors sent me for the Exercises, then my therapist gave me a wrong exercise and everything turned in to so worst that my pain from 5-6 directly shot to 9-10 ( taking, Diclofenac 100mg, tramadol 150mg, naproxen 1000mg and mild muscle relaxant mixed with paracetamol 1000mg per day) , and I was in worse condition than got some acupuncture session nothing helped then they referred me to pain management team and they suggested for the epidural shot 4months ago and said my appointment is in a waiting queue and meanwhile they added one more medicine in my above medicines named pregabalin 500mg-1000mg per day and they will increase it to 3000mg per day if they will think as needed (LOL) and when after 3days I complained about getting dizzy and more stressed after it they said we can change this medicine with dizipam and I said NO to take it and still waiting for the epidural appointment. In the meanwhile I sent my all MRI, And all other tests reports to doctors back home and they are also suggesting for the epidural shot. and after reading your experience I am very confused what to do. :s

Please Update me regarding your situation as I am so confused what to do..
    I hope you'll be fine soon :)
