3/29/13 Corpectomy ACDF c4-c6, Greetings from OH

Hello, I wish I had found this site prior to having surgery...very informative. I suffered with Rt arm and hand pain and weakness since 2011. First MRI couple yrs ago showed a herniated disc and began physical therapy with OTC meds, cortisone steroids with no relief.

Jan 2013, i ended up in ER with severe pain and unable to use my Rt arm. 2nd MRI showed cervical stenosis and basically went from bad to worse. I had the Corpectomy ACDF on 3/29/13. Oddly enough, i woke up from surgery with the pain and weakness in my LEFT arm instead of the right??!! Surgeon says that since im only 1.5 weeks postop, im still recovering so lets wait and see. Thanks for listening :)
