warming sensation in foot?

Hi everyone!

I'm posting this here since it deals with the other half of my pain. My major complaint is low back pain but recently my right leg has weird "electrical" sensations and 10+ times a day I have a weird sensation on my right foot. The best way to describe it is that it feels like someone is pouring warm water on my foot. Sounds strange I know. haha. Does anyone else have this?

  • Are you seeing any docs about your pain? The leg sensations are likeley early symptoms of sciatica. You will find many posts about this on these forums. Dont wait to have it looked at, you may be able to get it fixed before it gets any worse.

    Good Luck

    Sublime,
My foot problems are a little different as my foot is cold with twitching muscles around the outside of my ankle,I also find it difficult to raise my foot, apparently this is due to nerve irritation coming from my lower back, after having surgery at L5/S1 things have improved a little but the nerves were compressed for far too long so I'm stuck with this now.Have you had any scans like MRI etc ? I believe the longer it goes on the more damage will be done, I just wish the surgeons had done my op much sooner, they were very cautious in the early days saying to leave it be I suppose everyone is different I do hope you can get some answers soon.
