Cervical laminectomy without fusion

Hey there,

I was wondering if there are more people who had a posterior cervical laminectomy without fusion. Lately I've been reader information on the surgery they performed on me almost 2 years ago and read that lots of times a cervical laminectomy is being done with fusion or they perform a cervical laminoplasty. I guess spine instability and the chances of kyphosis are part of it.

I've had a posterior cervical laminectomy on C5 and C6 without fusion. I'm 32 years old right now and kind of wondering if there are more people who also had a laminectomy without fusion.
