Beds for Bad Backs!

Hello All! My lower back is a wreak and I was wondering if any of you
had any success with beds. I know there's lots of options out there and
some can get really expensive. I am on a budget.
Has anyone had relief from memory foam toppers?
Any thoughts will help! Thanks!

  • If you live in the USA and look to purchase a specific mattress for your back you can get your surgeon to write a script for it and you get the taxes off... some mattress are so expensive, it would be nice to get the tax off.
33yo mom of two. My surgical history...preadolescence scoliosis, kyphosis, and a hot mess.... 5 spine surgeries and lots of items added I wasn't born with (titanium, peek, surgical steel). Guess cremation is out. TSA loves me.
  • Great Info Charm! Hey, could you post or PM me what brand and where you got your memory foam? I'm about due for another one, however for now I'm sleeping in my recliner. But when I do go back to my comy bed I will be needing a new one. Had it for 6 or 7 years and I love it!! It's still in pretty good shape for someone who doesn't have issues. I have a almost standard select comfort bed which is an air mattress that I love with the added memory foam.

  • Overstock has one around $136 that I use. I had one about 6 months on my bed. Just purchased another one and put it on my other bed because I am not sure initially which one I will use. Mine has one step I have to do to get on it and the other doesn't.
  • I have a tempur deluxe mattress its amazing! Only bed I can sleep on and we've just ordered a tempur cloud for the room we stay in in my mother in law's house when my hubby works away. They were both expensive, but the BEST purchase I have ever made. In the uk you can get VAT off the original tempurs too, so 20%.
