Leg pain when not standing

I had a laminectomy & discectomy L5 S1 and 5/16/13 (horizontal incision 2 inch long) and now I have severe left leg pain when I’m not standing on the leg. I hope this makes sense when there’s pressure on my left leg like standing on it no pain when I shift the weight to the right leg severe pain in the left leg. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do beside stand to help with the pain? Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.
