Newbie to site not to pain

Hello everyone. I am Tom, today is not that good of a day painwise. I dont really know what I am looking for here. I look good, healthy, fused c5-6 and c6-7, artritic changes, and entropic changes in shoulders and necks. Pain 24/7, had lost the use of both arms due to industrial accident. Surgery was a success in that respect. Drs. Say we have now tried it all soooo. Pain meds forever. Cant really talk about it anymore cause my family anf friends just dont understand and frankly dont want to hear about it anymore. Cant work cause everything escalates me from a steady 6 to a spiking 8-9. I still try. Hmmm sorry everyone normally I am very upbeat about it all. Tom

  • welcome to Spine Health. I'm sorry that the pain levels are too high today. Making the adjustment to learning that there isn't much else other than to try to manage the pain is not a sentence that any of us ever expect to hear but too many of us often do.
Have you considered a spinal cord stimulator or a pain pump implant?
There is a link at the bottom of my post about treating chronic pain and lists some of the options. Maybe there is something in there that your doctor has not considered yet?
I hope the flare up eases up for you soon.
