foot drop is stronger, but more numbness

Good news and not so good news at least to inpatient me

My recent spinal surgery in August was mainly done to prevent further weakness and paralyzation
Of my foot drop.

in home PT today reassessed me ( next week i start outpatient PT)
Weakness has decreased and foot muscles are much stronger-good news
BUT the numbness is increasing, seems more each day-iffy news

PT said motor nerves are healing, helping my drop foot lessen
And sensory nerve caused by spinal swelling is causing the increased numbness

He also said that EIGHT WEEKS POST OP IS VERY EARLY IN THE HEALING. and to be patient
Need much more time and PT to get the swelling down.

Any comments from my buddies?
